Our recruitment process

Our recruitment process is designed to enable us to select creative, innovative people who have passion and potential. We make our selection based on a combination of your skills, competencies, experience and motivation.

Stage one: Internal Candidates

We believe in the empowerment of our employees and always advertise all vacancies internally for a maximum period of two weeks before we start looking externally.

Stage two: External Advertisement and Online CV Registry

Our dedicated internal recruitment team will advertise vacant positions on a wide range of media sources.

To increase your chances of being notice you are encouraged to keep a close eye on the vacancy page of this website.

In order to apply for vacancies you need to click on the "register" button on the home page and create a profile. Kindly take note that acceptance of your registration is not automatic and that approval is based on the relevance of your skills to the needs of the Company, the completeness of your application and certain other factors.

Once you have been approved, you will receive a "one time, 24 hour login link" - click and set your password. Then submit your Resume or CV. You can have more than one resume on our Careers website, so you can customise each one to a specific vacancy's requirements.

Stage three: Short Listing process

Once the position has closed our internal team will start short listing and the most suitably qualified candidates will be contacted for a telephonic interview. If you have critical skills in demand you might be contacted even if you haven't applied for a specific position.

Kindly take note that we receive a flood of CVs every day and as much as we would love to provide individual feedback it is simply not possible. For this reason we wish to emphasise that only short listed candidates will be contacted. If you have not heard from us within 4 weeks of the closing date it is likely that your application has been unsuccessful.

Stage four: Interviews

If we consider that you are a potential candidate for the position, you will be invited to attend face-to-face interviews. This interview helps us to understand your career interests, educational background, skills, competencies and experience, as well as what motivates you to succeed at work. You may be requested to complete psychometric and competency based assessments. Second interviews and reference checks are conducted if necessary.

Stage five: Selection decision and offer

Our selection panel will identify the most qualified candidate for the post. Once you have been selected for the role, your HR representative will send you an employment offer and answer any questions you may have.

If you are unsuccessful, do not be discouraged, your qualifications may well match other job openings in future, and we invite all previous applicants to check this site frequently for new career opportunities.

Confidential and impartial

When you apply for a job at Osborn, you can be sure that your application will be treated confidentially and impartially. To protect your personal information and ensure that our database remains current we will remove all unsuccessful CVs from our database in December. You may reregister in January every year.
