Duties and Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to ensure that Osborn’s quality standards adhere to ISO specifications and other internally defined standards.
At least 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment of which at least 5 years must be in a managerial position. A strong analytical thinker, with an assertive personality and good negotiating skills. A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering and a recognized Quality Management Systems diploma or qualification would be advantageous.
Ensuring that the Company KPIs for Quality are in line with meeting both the requirements of the company goals and those of the customer.
Ensuring the compliance to ISO 9001 is maintained and, where required, that the relevant quality standard to specific customer orders are achieved.
Driving a culture of Quality Awareness.
Promoting quality control and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Ensuring that document control processes is implemented and maintained to support compliance.
Implementing processes to ensure that ALL of the requirements of the customer are met on every product which leaves Osborn.
Setting QA Compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.
